General information

Kherson Maritime Centre is a crewing agency licensed by the Ministry of Labor of Ukraine.
We offer services for the recruiting of qualified Ukrainian seamen for all types of ships. Database of our Center includes 7000 applicants of various positions:from Masters to stewards.
More than 90% of those seamen have previous experience on board ships of foreign shipowners.

Kherson Maritime Center cooperates with foreign companies.

We apply multilevel approach for identifying an employee and seaman. The main steps of this process are:

  • Checking documents for validity and compliance with STCW 78/95, ISM, ISPS, IMO regulations.
  • Previous service (References, evacuation forms, sea service record).
  • Language tests (oral and computer based).
  • Aptitude test.

Strategic partnership with Institute of Post-Graduate Education "Odessa Maritime Training Centre" (Kherson branch) allows us to increase our date base constantly and ensure the fact that all our candidates are issued legal documents which comply with STCW 78/95, ISM, ISPS, IMO regulations and shipowners' demands.

Kherson Maritime Center assists in arrangement of documents necessary for embarkation of a seaman:

  • crew list;
  • visas;
  • transfer to the nearest airport in Kyiv or Odessa.

Our base is - Kherson Maritime Institute, the oldest marine educational establishment of the Eastern Europe (catalogue IMO p.64, # 450).
We are ready to offer you cadets program for searching the best cadets to have sea practice on board vessels of your company. Future navigators, engineers and electrical engineers would be glad to apply their high level of knowledge for the sake of your company on the most suitable for you terms and conditions.
All cadets speak fluent English.
